Venue & Travel FAQs

If you cannot find answers to your questions below please email questions@sensualball.com

Why do you not give out Venue Details on this Website?

We have over the last few events given out details about the venue. There have been no problems with this and we have decided that we will name the venue in future. Should we encounter any issues we will look at going back to restricting the venue information to ticket holders only.

We do this to respect the privacy of our ticket holders and ensure the exclusivity of the evening.  This also prevents curious people
from turning up on the night and trying to get in without a ticket, not that they would have much of a chance with 12 or more security staff on duty.

We also don’t want the hassle of people turning up last-minute on the night, just coming in off the street and trying to pay to get in.  This method attracts the wrong crowd.

What we can say is that it is an excellent forum, that can hold 1350 people is VERY popular for the events it holds and has extremely professional staff and great facilities.

Do you have Security?

Yes, we have excellent and well-organised security at the door to refuse entry
to the curious and people hoping to attend on the night without purchasing
a ticket beforehand.

Security is also discreetly present inside and throughout the night and respect our
guests wishes to enjoy the evening without feeling as if they are being
‘watched’.

We also work with the NSW Police before the event in order to notify them of
the content and that the night is full of adults (including off duty
policemen) having fun!   In the past we have had malicious
idiots trying to spoil our fun in saying there is illegal activity at our
events such as sex.  We actually owe the cranks out there a debt of
thanks as we have now been informed that our shows can be more raunchy
than we originally thought allowable.   Note:  all night
spots in the CBD get a routine visit by the police so there is no need to
be worried if you see any on the night.

Our venue is within a short walking distance to good hotels and all public

Sex & Nudity FAQs

If you cannot find answers to your questions below please email questions@sensualball.com

Is nudity allowed on the premises?

Whilst topless nudity is OK, the continuous exposure of lower genitals is not
OK
.  Micro bikinis, briefs and see through costumes are great
for showing yourselves off (footwear must be also worn, no bare feet
allowed for safety reasons)   We also have body painting to
protect those who are a little shy about exposing too much skin 🙂

Dress and dress to tease.  See our Dress Suggestions section for hundreds
of ideas or contact us at dress_suggestions@sensualball.com

Is Sex Allowed at the Venue?

No – save it for after the event.  Our feedback from guests is overwhelming, from all the scenes, that this ball is all about letting your hair down and
meeting other lifestyles and curious couples and not one that needs sex to
make it a night to remember.

Very few people we have spoken with about this find full on sex acts to be a
turn on at such an event, infact it is usually a turn off except to those
engaging in the act.

A bigger turn on is when people get really close, such as on the dance
floor, enjoying each others company and sexy gear.

You can always take it to the highest level of intimate contact with couples
you meet outside of the venue.  It is always wise to book a hotel
close by for emergencies!

See our Venue and Travel FAQs for nearby hotels

General FAQs

If you cannot find answers to your questions below please email questions@sensualball.com

Will there be any Singles Allowed?

Single Ladies are allowed and must be sponsored by a couple attending the Sensual Ball.

Sorry, single guys are not allowed, we have tried this in very small numbers in
the past but we have had too many complaints.  We find the guys in
general just can’t help themselves and go touching other guests when not
welcome.

Men turning up without their partner, for whatever reason, will not be allowed
to attend, nor will they have their tickets refunded.

Am I allowed to take my camera or mobile phone camera to take pictures?

Ticket Holders  are Strictly not allowed to take cameras or
pictures at the event.  Any pictures taken at The Sensual Ball later
found to have entered the public domain will render the picture taker and
distributor liable to civil prosecution.

People found with cameras will be asked to leave immediately without question.
This applies to mobile phone cameras also.

Thankfully we have only had one person to date not respecting this policy and we had
to save them from being murdered by other guests for being so
inconsiderate.  They were glad to be ejected from the venue as a
matter of personal safety.

Only
our official photographers are allowed to take a camera onto the premises
and we have an instant print facility for a very reasonable charge.
We can also email you a copy of the photo later at no charge.

What is the Difference Between The Sensual Ball and other Adult Balls?

There are a lot of Balls and Dances out there focusing on specific lifestyles
(gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, swingers).  The Sensual Ball appeals to all the lifestyles
and they come together once a year in Sydney to enjoy each others
company and show themselves off.

The best Balls or Major Nights we recommend are:

The Sleaze Ball (mainly gay / lesbian but all welcome)

The Biversity Dances (Mainly bi-sexual but all welcome)

Hookers and Deviates Ball (all-comers,  runs after most SEXPO’s & great fun)

The Hellfire Club (mainly BDS&M and Fetish but all welcome)

We have to make it very clear to our guests that a Sensual Ball
is just that ‘Sensual’ and fun that does not need sex on the premises to
make it a night to remember.  No amount of spin on any website
(including ours) can beat genuine experiences from guests and word of
mouth so read our guest feedback section and make up your own mind up.  If you wish to
speak with any of our guests, especially if you are nervous about such an
event, please contact us at manager@sensualball.com and we’ll put you in touch with previous Sensual Ball Guests.
